Fans of cheese, rejoice! Our first destination is sure to satisfy your taste buds: an exquisite cheese tasting at the Yarra Valley Dairy. Then, we’ll go to the well-known Domaine Chandon vineyard, where you can buy sparkling wine and sample their oysters.
Next, it’s time for the fun part: wine tasting! Enjoy a glass of Yering Station’s outstanding Shiraz Viognier. Following our wine adventure, we’ll go to the Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory, a sweet tooth’s dream! Check out the fascinating chocolate-making process and experience some of the delectable delicacies during a private tasting.
What happens next is one of the most exciting aspects of our journey! It’s time to watch out for kangaroos! Kangaroos, these lovely, fuzzy animals, will emerge in the evening, allowing you to observe them play in their natural environment.

Notes
Know before you book
Which vineyards do we visit?
The schedule and vineyard destinations are subject to variation owing to unexpected situations such as group numbers, special events, and cellar-door closures. We work closely with various estates, and visitors will be able to sample wines from a number of destinations, including Yering Station, as well as buy beverages and snacks at Domaine Chandon.
Can I attend the trip if I’m staying in the Yarra Valley?
Yes! Please let us know when you book.
What is an appropriate age for this tour?
All ages are welcome! A picture ID will be requested since the minimum drinking age is 18.
How much baggage can I carry on a tour?
We suggest that passengers on day tours bring light day packs and handbags only, since we have limited storage space in our cars. Suitcases and bulky backpacks must be stowed in your hotel or bus station lockers prior to entering our cars.
How fit do I have to be to join this tour?
Participation in this route requires a modest degree of fitness. It’s an ideal day trip to unwind and reconnect with family and friends. Unfortunately, our buses are not wheelchair-accessible.
What would happen if it rained? Will the tour proceed?
In the case of rain or severe weather, the trip will go as planned, since there is nothing better than curling up with a glass of red wine on a wet day. Wherever feasible, our visitors will be able to enjoy the outdoors and picturesque views; alternate inside tastings will be prepared in inclement weather. If a cancellation happens, the supplier will notify you.
Responsible alcohol consumption?
Because of the nature of this trip and for the safety of all visitors, the tour operator retains the right to deny service to passengers who are inebriated or exhibit indications of intoxication. If, as a consequence, you are asked to leave the tour, you will not be able to get a refund.
